It was cold on the morning of March 27, 2010, but that has not stopped Gregg Kirkland and lawyer Melissa Schopfer of Simmons to take to the streets to fight for a cure for mesothelioma.

The fundraiser was organized by Norm Kulig 2Young2Go Foundation, which is dedicated to raising awareness of cancer related causes of environment and promote scientific research of these cancers.
At Simmons firm, we share these objectives, which is why the company has served as a sponsor of the event. As our own event, Miles for Meso, eliminate lead 5K / 10K not only raise necessary funding for research on mesothelioma; it also draws public attention to the serious problem of asbestos contamination and the danger it represents.
