Regardless of the diagnosis, Bruce was determined to stay active and continue their daily shopping. After some time, the race is now too and these races he loved so turned for daily walks. Soon he was fighting every day just to breathe. Bruce died March 25, 03.
Commenting on his father's illness, the daughter of Bruce Jill said: "We fought - my father, my mother and myself. We fought with everything we had in us, and then some. But the fight is futile when the enemy is so worrying and insidious. It is not a fair fight. "
