It is a word that appears at the end of TV commercials evening managed by lawyers seeking to help sufferers of mesothelioma are collecting on a class action against asbestos manufacturers.

It usually strikes people who have worked with mined, or lived around asbestos, and can take decades after exposure to knock his victims.

"People see the ads late at night and they assimilate with the sailors and workers of the factory, and Dad never worked essentially a non-musical day in her life," says Jordan Zevon, musician and spokesman of 'awareness Organization to asbestos-related diseases (ADAO), in a Q & a in lA Weekly.

"And since then, we found that the thing about asbestos is that when it is dry, only one asbestos fiber can get into your lungs and stay there, and 20 years later, you have mesothelioma

We found some tape marks who is not prohibited;. people think it is, but it is not, and that's what we try to do. "

Last night (7/7) Jordan played a tribute to his father with the members of the tour group 1982 elder and special Zevon at a fundraiser at ADAO Mr. Musichead Gallery in Hollywood, CA.

The event included a photography exhibition by Zevon George Gruel, whose book Lawyers, Guns & Photos collects photos of the artist as well as stories of their time hanging out together.

The young Zevon notes the tragic irony of how the mesothelioma Warren struck when he had put his lifestyle and reckless habits behind.

"I can not speak for it to be the happiest time dad, but I can say it was at least happier than I had seen in a long time, and it was the happiest I saw long after. "Jordan says."
Any hit on the right cylinder.
He worked like crazy and gym .... He took dance lessons and doing splits, and it was definitely a departure from the previous. "

Jordan Zevon notes how people think that asbestos is prohibited when it is not. His goal is to get it banned and hopefully save lives.
