Enjoy the holiday parties, but Don ?? t Forget your exercise routine -

The last three weeks of the year aren ?? Does the busiest time for personal trainers and other fitness professionals.

Of course, I get the occasional client who wants to get a head start on their New Year's resolution ??, but for most, it is time of year when the consistency is hard for most people.

multiple national holidays and family meetings in November and December mean a lot of reasons to relax, relax ?? seconds and enjoy dinner. I ?? am here to tell you that you can always loosen the tie without loosening the belt.

Here ?? s the thing, you do ?? t have set records this time of year. If you have reached a weight loss goal or you ?? re close to achieving one, don ?? t take steps in the opposite direction.

Do not pass on seconds at the table

you ?? re going to deliver, and you should, but do ?? t lazy, too. Maybe you play in the annual Turkey Bowl football game on Thanksgiving morning, or join a race Jingle Christmas. Anyway, just try to keep moving forward.

Get the family for a sort of exercise of the family. Have fun, and do what you have to do to stay active. I always encourage most of my clients not to take too seriously this time of year. I want everyone to be constantly active, but I want to be their main focus on enjoying themselves and enjoy the time they have with the people around them.

Eat seconds sneak in a nap on the couch, and take as many family photos that your parents ask because those will be the sweetest memories someday. Try to maintain your fitness level throughout the holiday season, and just my opinion, stay away scales. The scales are mostly anyway. Mirrors do not.

However, if you are strongly committed to losing a few pounds over the next two months ?? the trick is simple. Go crazy over pie pan and only on the actual holiday. You do not ?? t need to eat pie and pecan sweet potato casserole remains of four consecutive days after Thanksgiving. Indulge the celebration day and your desires should be a little less intense for the following days.

be smart about what you eat

I ?? have a bit of a different approach than most trainers, but I think that mental health is as important ?? if not more important ?? physical health, and I promise you that you will ?? driving crazy trying to abstain completely from all the delicious food. Resisting will only lead to more to eat at some point down the line.

Another tip is to cook all with organic ingredients. I understand that this may not be the most economical option, but your total is probably the most valuable thing you ?? ve got. You can not save on calories, but you ?? It certainly protect you against genetically modified foods, inhumanly high products and animal pesticides.

When there are more serious concerns on Your Mind

worry lose weight during the holiday season is a tiny concern about some of us who have lost a loved one to mesothelioma.

I ?? going through my fourth Thanksgiving and Christmas without my stepfather, Jeff Wahl. He lost his life for mesothelioma in October 2011.

it ?? s times like these that may be more difficult than ever for some of you. Jeff was the one who carved the turkey while I was growing up. His pecan pie and sweet potato casserole will never be recreated. He ?? s definitely the holiday season has not been the same for my family since Jeff died.

I do ?? t ?? s think it supposed to be. He ?? s a kind of growth that comes from the pain and the loss of my family lived. Perhaps the growth is just a scar, but whatever it is, I know that our skin is more difficult because of this.

I understand the whole situation can easily be made worse, but we made it through a pretty ugly scene, and we ?? re well. We did it together. I think that time has given us a greater sense of appreciation for what the holiday season really means.

Know that your loved ones live through you. We still feel Jeff around the table saying grace. We can imagine the laughter as we try to recreate her pies, and although we can ?? t play or sing as well, we always bring the guitar and have a good time.

for me, I? ? I was able to find a sense of peace in the physical form. I understand my passion is everyone ?? s, but you n ?? t have to be a coach to be passionate about your workouts.

If anyone has dealt with the loss of a loved one due to mesothelioma, it can be a stressful time of year for you. I think that you ?? will be amazed at how much workout can make you feel. Try and remember to never give up.
