March will be here before you know it, and that means it is time to outreach organization to asbestos diseases (ADAO) 5th annual awareness at the international asbestos conference. The conference this year will take place in Manhattan Beach, California, Saturday, March 28, 09; activities will continue throughout the weekend.
The conference provides education and outreach to families, employers, employees and scientists. ADAO seeks to educate the public about the dangers of asbestos, ban its use and encourage research efforts to improve treatment options. Discussions will focus on the exposure of facts, diseases related to asbestos and how to prevent them, and where to find help. This is a good opportunity to connect with other people with mesothelioma, as well as learn more about the disease and the fight to prevent it.
Linda Reinstein is the CEO and co-founder of the advocacy organization to asbestos diseases. Unfortunately, she knows intimately about exposure to asbestos and the devastating effects it has on families; Linda lost her husband, Alan, with exposure to asbestos in 06.
