The Firm is pleased to announce that it has renewed its support for the Foundation Mesothelioma Applied Research with a donation of 25,000 $ to support the 2014 International Symposium on malignant mesothelioma.
in the last decade, the Meso Foundation has awarded more than $ 8.2 million to medical researchers developing innovative treatment options for mesothelioma patients. Having donated more than $ 2 million over the years, the firm remains among the main supporters of the foundation.
Set place March 5 to 7, the International Symposium on Malignant Mesothelioma 2014 is open to all mesothelioma patients, families, advocates, professionals and other physicians who have lost a loved one the rare cancer. Mesothelioma Symposium is held by the Meso Foundation is in its 11th year.
The event gives the halt on March 5 with Advocacy Day, which will feature presentations by government experts to prepare for meetings on Capitol Hill with elected officials. The goal is to help educate government experts and advocate for increased federal funding for mesothelioma.
March 6 and 7 will feature scientists and community conversations groups covering a variety of topics. These sessions will focus on:

on March 6, a "celebration of life" ceremony will be held to honor all those lost to this devastating disease.
Agenda for March 6 and 7 also provide community special dinners where the winners will be honored. Meso Fighters Band, composed of people affected by mesothelioma, will perform in the evening of March 7.
Mesothelioma Symposium will be held at the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center 5000 Seminary Rd in. In Alexandria, VA . For those who can not attend the same person, there will be a live webcast of the entire event online.
