Merck & Co., Inc., a global pharmaceutical company, leads the study of the effects of vorinostat, which is a type of histone deacetylase inhibitor. Participation is generally a period of 24 weeks. The second is led by Anderson Cancer Center in Houston M.D. and the Novartis pharmaceutical company to test the effects of cisplatin, pemetrexed and Imatinib mesylate.
