Simmons Hanly Conroy Connects with Mesothelioma Community at MARF -

Simmons Hanly Conroy employees, customers and other members of the mesothelioma community met during the 8th Annual International Symposium on malignant mesothelioma, held last month in Washington DC

Each year the symposium, organized by the Foundation for applied research mesothelioma, provides a valuable forum for the mesothelioma community to learn about new treatment options to advocate for federal research funding on Capitol Hill, and remember loved ones while celebrating those still living.

The customer of the year Larry Davis received 2,011 volunteers from the Meso Foundation of the Year for his work organizing the South Florida Wishing Well Miles for Meso race, which garnered nearly 50 $ 000 for meso Foundation.

Linda Reinstein, co-founder of the advocacy organization with diseases of asbestos, received the Builder Bruce Vento Hope Award for his advocacy of national efforts to ban asbestos.

Firm Partner John Barnerd was also involved in a legal panel during the conference. He discussed several legal issues related to exposure to asbestos, the statute of limitations and other issues.
